Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Al-Khafaji, Professor Dr. Samah Al-Jubouri, and Mrs. Reyam Al-Dalawi participated in the first meeting of the International Advisory Committee for the Sixth International Conference on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Safety and Security. The meeting was held on the Zoom platform and was chaired by Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Yasiri, the Director General of Joint Planning at the National Security Advisory. The meeting covered various organizational matters and included a general discussion on how to increase and improve international communication between sectors or agencies, especially between neighboring countries. Additionally, alternative RN techniques, global intelligence and information sharing systems, communication and coordination strategies for stakeholders (public and private), translating policy into practice, improving civilian partnerships, enhancing industrial efficiencies, and considering the impacts of current migration patterns and evolving regional challenges, including Afghanistan, were discussed. The participation of these individuals in the meeting highlights their expertise and the importance of international collaboration in addressing CBRN safety and security issues.
