The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. The College of Pharmacy/University of Babylon held a celebration on the occasion of International Women s Day, managed by the Women s Affairs Unit in the college. The ceremony was opened with a speech by the respected Dean, Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, pointing out the importance of the role of women in society in general and in the college in particular, due to the clear efforts made by the college s female members in completing the tasks assigned to them. The Dean presented a group of flowers with greeting cards to the college s female members in celebration of their international day.
