The College of Pharmacy participated in the Sixth International Conference on Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, and Radiological Safety and Security (CBRN). Professor Dr. Falah Al-Khafaji served as the general coordinator and head of the conference's organizing committee, while Professor Dr. Samah Al-Jubouri, Mr. Muhammad Abbas, and Mr. Riyam Al-Dalawi participated as members of the conference. The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Security Advisory / National Center for Joint Planning and held at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies. The conference aimed to enhance international communication between sectors or agencies, especially between neighboring countries, and to discuss alternative RN techniques, global intelligence and information sharing systems, communication and coordination strategies for stakeholders (public and private), translating policy into practice, improving civilian partnerships, enhancing industrial efficiencies, and considering the impacts of current migration patterns and evolving regional challenges, including Afghanistan. The President of the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Qahtan Al-Jubouri, praised the CBRN team from the university for their persistence and determination in organizing the conference. The conference highlighted the importance of international cooperation in promoting CBRN safety and security.
