The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Professor Dr. Rafel Jalil Al-Sayegh and Assistant Professor Dr. Ruqayya Munther Jalil are members of the Scientific Committee Within the activities of the Third International Scientific Conference for Medical Sciences and under the slogan (Scientific and cognitive creativity is our goal for sustainable development) held at Hilla University College in cooperation with the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustansiriya University The conference included the participation of many scientific researches and lectures in the fields of medicine, dentistry, dental manufacturing and installation techniques, pharmaceutical and nursing sciences and medical device technologies in addition to aspects of sustainable development and with the attendance of a group of academics and researchers in various specialties
