The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Al-Khafaji, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy in Babylon, attended a regular meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraq. During the meeting, several important topics were discussed, including: _ An evaluative analysis of two academic years after the experiment was established, with the aim of developing students' scientific and training realities and recognizing top-performing students. - The need for a single coding system for laboratories and diversity in all pharmacy institutions, in accordance with the Ministry's framework. -Discussion of the uniqueness of the pupils engaged in the creative nine initiatives, which was launched by the Minister of Higher Education and a respected scientific researcher at the beginning of next year, regarding the top 100 in the evaluation exam and from all colleges. The meeting aimed to enhance the quality of education and training in pharmacy institutions in Iraq, ultimately benefiting both students and faculty members
