The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Under the patronage of the university president, Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Yasser, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Saheb, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the college hosted Mr. Mohammed Taqi Al-Hakim in a joyous celebration on the occasion of the birth of Imam Al-Hujjah Al-Muntadhar (may God hasten his appearance). The ceremony included several segments, including: * **Speech by Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Saheb:** Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Saheb delivered a speech welcoming the attendees, praising the role of the College of Pharmacy in commemorating this religious occasion, and emphasizing the importance of emulating the morals of Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance) in our daily lives. * **Speech by Mr. Mohammed Taqi Al-Hakim:** Mr. Mohammed Taqi Al-Hakim delivered a speech on this occasion, discussing the significance of this great event, the role of Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance) in establishing justice and truth, and the importance of preparing for his emergence. * **Various segments:** The event included various segments, such as poetry, praise, and religious chants that expressed love for Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance) and longing for his appearance. A large gathering of professors, students, and staff from the College of Pharmacy attended the ceremony, along with several religious and cultural figures from the community.
