The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

University of Babylon Honorary Professorship awarded to Prof. Apostles Zarros (College of Pharmacy) The Dean of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Babylon, Professor Hussam W. Al-Humadi, is happy to announce that the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research has approved the College s request to grant Professor Apostolos Zarros the title of “Honorary Professor” on March 02, 2025. This is a lifelong honorary title in recognition of the continuous and valuable efforts of Prof. Zarros in supporting and facilitating the communication of the scientific research conducted within the College of Pharmacy of the University of Babylon. To our knowledge, this is the first time that an honorary professorship is awarded by a public university of the Republic of Iraq. The Dean and the staff of the College of Pharmacy congratulate Prof. Zarros for this achievement, and are looking forward to his continuous and valuable support.
