The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The College of Pharmacy, University of Babylon, holds a workshop on employee rights and duties in Iraq. Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Yasser, President of the University of Babylon, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Women s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, held a workshop entitled "Employee Rights and Duties in Iraq." The workshop was moderated by Dr. Samah Ahmed Kazim, a liaison member of the Women s Affairs Unit at the college. Presented by M.M. Banin Qasim and M.M. Duaa Nasr, the workshop was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, as part of an awareness-raising campaign to educate and raise awareness of the laws and regulations related to employment. The workshop addressed the rights of public employees, including their right to receive a salary and all types of leave. It also addressed employee duties under the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law, as well as how to deal with colleagues and officials with sincerity and honesty, while maintaining the confidentiality of information. The workshop recommended the need to educate employees about regulations and laws and the resulting rights and duties, which contribute to creating a capable, professional generation. And capable of performing his job to contribute constructively to institutional reform.
