The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon inaugurates the third floor in the presence of the university president Professor Amin Ajeel Al-Yasiri, President of the University of Babylon, inaugurated the new third floor of the College of Pharmacy during his official visit to the college. He was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Hussam Wahab Sahib. The new building includes several classrooms equipped with the latest technical and educational tools, in addition to a modern library aimed at supporting students and faculty members academically and research-wise. This achievement is part of the college s ongoing efforts to develop its infrastructure and create an integrated academic environment. During his tour, the university president praised the level of achievement and organization, affirming the university presidency s continued support for the college s development projects and appreciating the efforts made by the college s deanship to enhance academic and service standards. For his part, the dean of the college expressed his thanks and gratitude to the university presidency for this support, emphasizing the college s commitment to moving forward towards academic and research excellence to serve the educational process in Iraq. In this context, the College of Pharmacy extends its thanks and appreciation to the Resident Engineer Department, the implementing company, the engineering staff, and the designer, Professor Haitham Al-Dami, from the College of Engineering at the University of Babylon, for their technical and professional efforts that contributed to the completion of this vital project.
