The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

As part of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon s interest in following up on student affairs and enhancing communication channels with them, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Hossam Wahab, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Associate Prof. Dr. Ayman Amer, and Mr. Ali Adel Khalil, met with first-year students at the college. The Dean began the meeting by welcoming the new students, congratulating them on joining the College of Pharmacy family, emphasizing the college s commitment to providing an outstanding academic environment that supports their academic journey. He also reviewed the most important university regulations and instructions, stressing the necessity of adhering to them to ensure excellence and success. For his part, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs gave a brief explanation about the nature of study at the college, the scientific subjects, and the examination mechanisms, in addition to answering the students questions and inquiries related to academic aspects. Mr. Ali Adel Khalil also emphasized the importance of students participation in scientific and research activities, pointing out the pivotal role of the first stage in building a solid scientific foundation for the student.
