The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon Holds an Educational Lecture on Combating Extremism Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Babylon, and supervised by Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Pharmacy held an educational lecture entitled Combating Extremism Towards a Safer Society (Youth Against Extremism), aiming to raise intellectual awareness and instill human values among students. The lecture addressed the importance of education and awareness in building a balanced personality capable of confronting deviant ideas, emphasizing the role of dialogue between cultures, supporting youth, and providing opportunities for them as they are the fundamental pillar in building society. It also touched on the necessity of promoting the values of tolerance and respect, supporting human rights, and raising awareness about the dangers of extremism and its negative effects on security and stability. The lecture was delivered by M.M. Amir Athab and M.M. Ali Adel, who emphasized the importance of the role of educational institutions in intellectually fortifying youth and spreading the culture of moderation, which contributes to building a safer and more cohesive society.
