The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Babylon, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the educational seminar titled "The Green Economy and Its Strategic Dimensions within the National Security Strategy" was held. The seminar was presented by the Head of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Noor Hadi Issa. The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably: - Supporting local innovation in environmentally friendly technologies, especially in the fields of renewable energy and waste management. - Raising community awareness about the importance of transitioning to a green economy and encouraging sustainable practices. - Developing legislation and educational programs to support green investment and qualify specialized personnel.
