The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Awareness Posters Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Yasser, the respected President of the University of Babylon, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Women s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Babylon, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, organized an awareness campaign by distributing educational posters to the female students and staff of the college, in addition to displaying them on the electronic screens in the college under the title "No to Violence... Yes to Protection and Dignity," managed by Dr. Samah Ahmed Kazem, Member of the Women s Affairs Unit in the college. The distribution was assisted by Ms. Mayada Areibi, Zahraa Khawam, and Walada Ahmed on Wednesday, 8/4/2026, as part of the National Strategy to Combat Violence against Women and Girls for the year (2026) – Pillar (Protection and Prevention), Section Three – distributing awareness posters in all fields of social, environmental, and economic life. The posters contributed to emphasizing the importance of spreading a culture of respect and rejecting all forms of violence within society by highlighting human rights and dignity and raising awareness of the psychological, social, and health impacts of violence. These posters also help encourage women to persevere.
