The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

College of Pharmacy, University of Babylon launches a campaign to plant green spaces Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Yasser, the respected President of the University of Babylon, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Women s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Babylon, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Agricultural Unit at the college, launched a campaign to plant green spaces and distribute shade plants in its corridors, managed by Dr. Samah Ahmed Kazem, member of the Women s Affairs Unit in the college. The campaign was participated in by teaching staff M. M. Rafal Ahmed Kazem, Ms. Bidaya Jawad, and Ms. Zahraa Khawam on Sunday, 12/4/2026, as part of the implementation plan for the 2026 Iraqi National Women s Strategy, Axis Five (Enhancing women s role in managing climate change risks and protecting the environment) - first paragraph - organizing volunteer campaigns to plant land in the corridors of Iraqi governmental and private universities and colleges. This campaign is considered a comprehensive community environmental activity aimed at raising environmental awareness and improving the quality of life. Through this campaign, shade plant seedlings that provide natural shade and improve air quality, thereby promoting the spirit of work, were distributed.
