The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon held an educational seminar titled Your Success Begins with Believing in Yourself. The seminar was sponsored by Professor Dr. Amin Ajeel Yasser, the esteemed President of the University of Babylon, and supervised by Professor Dr. Hussam Wahab Sahib, the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy. The Women s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Babylon, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, organized the educational seminar titled Your Success Begins with Believing in Yourself, managed by Dr. Samah Ahmed Kazem, Liaison Member of the Women s Affairs Unit at the college, and lectured by Ms. Rafel Ahmed Kazem, on Wednesday, 15/4/2026, as part of the National Strategy for Combating Violence Against Women and Girls 2026 – Pillar (Recovery), Section Two - organizing seminars and workshops to raise awareness about the importance of the role of women and promoting a positive culture towards them. The seminar addressed the importance of highlighting self-confidence, which is a fundamental basis for achieving success, as it helps in enhancing internal motivation and facing challenges with a positive spirit and determination. It also emphasized the importance of developing personal abilities, discovering strengths, and working on improving them, while overcoming the fear of failure and turning it into an opportunity for learning and growth. The seminar also called for adopting positive thinking.
