The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is the first in the province of Babylon; it was founded in 2008, and it is thus one of the most essential sources that provide the country with efficient pharmaceutical cadres that contribute to strengthening health and pharmaceutical services at the clinical level as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Babylon is holding a training course entitled The Creative Woman .... Successful Professional. Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amin Ajeel Yasser, the respected President of the University of Babylon, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussam Wahhab Sahib, the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Women s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Babylon, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, held a training course entitled The Creative Woman .... Successful Professional. The course was presented by the faculty members: Prof. Dr. Samah Ahmed Kazem, Women s Affairs Unit Liaison at the college, Asst. Prof. Dr. Asil Fadel Karim, and Dr. Saba Abdul Munim Habib. It lasted for three days, from April 14 to 16, 2026. The course targeted female staff and students of the college as part of the National Strategy to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls for the year 2026 – Pillar (Protection and Prevention), Section Three – holding training courses and distributing awareness posters in all areas of social, environmental, and economic life. The course addressed the importance of focusing on building a well-rounded psychological self that enhances women’s personal and professional capacities. It emphasized developing creative and innovative thinking skills, enhancing communication and leadership abilities, as well as promoting self-confidence and awareness.
